Fun for all ages! PYO is a great opportunity to see first hand how your food is grown, and have a wonderful time while doing it.

Search for the brightest berry in the field, take a walk through the sunflower trail, or take home the biggest pumpkin in the patch! There is no better place to get fresh, local produce and a whole day of fun than right here at Ort Farms.

PYO Seasons

  • Pick your Own Strawberries - end of May to end of June

    There is no better way to spend the day than surrounded by the sweet smell of home grown strawberries. Pick your berries solo, grab a friend, or bring the whole family! Patch is open daily from 9:30am until 4:30pm or until picked out.

  • Sunflowers and Cut Flowers - mid July to end of August

    In the heart of summer, we offer DIY cut flower bouquets and our picture perfect sunflower trail!

  • Apples -August-October

    Here at Ort Farms, we have over 5 acres of apples and many varieties including fan favorites like Gala and Honey Crisp, Jonagold, Cortland and more!

  • Pumpkins - late September to late October

    Pumpkin picking is a Fall Favorite! Take a hayride pulled by a big John Deere tractor down to the patch to look for the perfect pumpkin! Our 5 acre corn maze is also included in fall admission- get lost with family and friends! We also have a large selection of other all farm activities open on during pumpkin season including monster truck rides, pony rides, and our beloved cow train!

Farm Animals

Open Daily Visit our friendly farm animals when you come to the farm! Sam the steer and Gertie the goat would love to say Hello!

We also have bunny rabbits, ponies, sheep, a miniture cow, large cows and seasonally a few other visitors!

Food to feed the animals is for sale in the farm market.

Kids Play Area

Open Daily

Our kids play area features our wooden playground Pirate Ship, Charlies Choo Choo Train and Jakes Haywagon. Plus our hay pyramid and picnic area.

Enjoy a fun afternoon on the farm.

Corn Maze

Open Daily 9/3-11/6

Hours: 9:00 AM- 5:30 PM

Our corn maze is included with our admission fee.

Our 2024 Corn Maze- Our 2024 Corn Maze is benefiting Long Valley Hopes! Long Valley Hopes is a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping out those with cancer & those with families who have cancer & other life-threatening illnesses. The maze, impressively done, spells out Long Valley Hopes entirely & is surrounded by ribbons.

Hayrides

Weekdays 9/26-10/30

Hours: 11:00 AM- 6:00 PM

Weekends 9/17-10/30

Hours: 11:00 AM- 6:00 PM

Hayride is included with admission fee. The hayride will take you to the pumpkin patch.

Our farm is dog friendly but dogs are not permitted on weekend hayrides OR in our apple orchard.

Pony Rides

Weekends Only!

11:00 - 4:00 on Saturdays & Sundays

$10 a rider & MUST be under 42 inches in order to ride.

Weekend Food Sales

On weekends and school holidays, our food truck & food tents are open!

October on the farm will be featuring non-profits serving burgers, dogs, fries, chicken fingers and more! Plus, Dellano's foods has sausage sandwiches, fresh lemonade, and delicious desserts like funnel cakes and zeppoles!

Monster Truck Rides

Weekends Only plus 10/3 and 10/14

Hours: 10:00 AM- 5:30 PM

Apple Cannon

Our apple cannon is open weekends and school holidays!

Hours are 10:00-5:30

Blast apples towards targets on this fun for all ages activity! Cost is $5 for 5 apples, this is also included in our Punch Card!

Cow Train Rides

Weekends and School Holidays thru 10/30

Our mini cow train is perfect for the little ones to enjoy a train ride.

Cost is $5 per rider.
Must be 36" or taller to ride otherwise can ride accompanied by an adult.
